Meeting Topics
- A New Era In Balance Sheet Management - Matt Pieniazek & Jeff Reynold, Darling Consulting Group
The last few years have taught the banking industry a number of lessons, and regulators have taken steps to rewrite the expectations on balance sheet management going forward. In addition to updated “best practice” expectations, it is clear that regulators also expect banks to hold significantly more capital in reserve and higher levels of on balance sheet liquidity than before the economic crisis. While the academic reasoning for this may seem logical, the practical impact on the bottom line can be devastating for community banks. Are you prepared to manage these expectations going forward? This session will help prepare you for addressing these issues as you navigate your bank through the maze of emerging regulatory guidance and dealing with the economic uncertainty that lies ahead.
- Loan & Deposit Pricing Strategies - Mitchell Epstein, MarginPro
- One Good Idea regarding Information Technology - Bob Walters, The Bank Advisory Group, Roger Peters & Kent Conrad, RSM McGladrey
- Planning Requires Intelligence - Cass Bettinger, Cass Bettinger & Associates, Kevin Morgan & Allen Smith, BancIntelligence

Transportation
If your only plans are to attend the meetings and perhaps take in some of the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, our contact at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya recommends using a taxi or other public transportation.
If you plan to "explore" Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos or other points of interest in addition to attending the meetings, you will need a rental car.
